In 2023, NFPA 70B will transition from a “recommended practice” to an industry “standard”, covering the required development, implementation and operation of an electrical maintenance program (EPM). Eaton’s Scott Brady and Tom Domitrovich are NFPA technical committee members with years of industry experience and will discuss the changing standard.

Scott Brady is a regional manager of technical application support for Eaton located in Chandler, AZ. He is a Technical Committee Member for NFPA 70B – Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance. He has decades of experience in the application, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment across mission critical, utility, industrial and commercial systems. Scott is licensed Professional Engineer is the states of California, Arizona and New Mexico and has a BSEE from the University of Arizona.
Thomas A. Domitrovich is an electrical engineer within Eaton Corporation’s electrical group with experience in engineering, sales & marketing, business development and product management. Thomas has global responsibilities for Code and Standards for Eaton's Electrical Sector. He is actively involved with various electrical industry organizations and focuses on the continued growth of electrical safety. Domitrovich is an author with a wide range of trade magazine articles including columns in two industry trade magazines. He sits on NFPA Code Making Panels 2 and 10 for the continued development of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), and also on other NFPA committees including NFPA 73, 78, 1078, 110, and 111 and chairs various committees for other electrical industry organizations. Domitrovich is a LEED® Accredited Professional, a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Gannon University.
