Educational seminar on explosion protection in theory and practice

Explosion protection plays an increasingly important role in many areas of the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. The use of proper equipment in areas with a risk of gas or dust explosion, as well as the use of non-electrical equipment is becoming more significant.

That's why Eaton offers an in-person and application-oriented seminar on the latest developments in explosion protection.  Featuring a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on activities, participcants will learn how to apply the relevant guidelines and standards in practice.

This 2.5 day seminar takes place at our Eberbach, Germany facility, and it will be offered two times in 2025.

Our Explosion Protection seminars are aimed at engineers, technicians and those qualified in the construction and operation of chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants.  Safety engineers, safety specialists, electricians and inspectors would also benefit from this training.

Upon successful completion of the training session, each participant will receive a certificate of participation, as well as comprehensive training materials to take home.  

This seminar is a certified upgrade training course for qualified persons in explosion protection in accordance with the Industrial Safety Ordinance.

Seminar costs & payment

Seminar costs:  Our 2.5-day seminar is €680.00 per participant.

Payment terms: The seminar fee plus applicable VAT is due in full on receipt of the invoice.  The invoice will be sent out after the seminar concludes.  Seminar fees do not include hotel costs.  These expenses must be paid directly to the hotel by the participant.

On request, a hotel reservation can be made at the time of registration by Eaton.  Please specify this in notes & requests section of the registration form.  Participants should personally confirm the hotel reservation by contacting the address stated in the registration confirmation.

Terms & Conditions

To ensure that our Explosion Protection seminar can be conducted effectively, the number of participants is limited to 30.  Registration is first come, first serve, and can be easily completed using our online registration form.  

Registration is considered a commitment to attend the training seminar, though participants may cancel their registration free of charge up to two weeks before the start of the seminar. Cancellations less than two weeks prior to the start date will incur a charge.

Eaton and Cooper Crouse-Hinds GmbH reserves the right to cancel a seminar due to insufficient participant numbers or other pressing reasons such as instructor illness or force majeure.  In the event a seminar is cancelled, Cooper Crouse-Hinds GmbH will assume all costs incurred in connection with the hotel reservation.

By registering, the participant agrees to these above terms and conditions.
