Connectors

Eaton’s electrical connectors, which are designed to create an electrical connection between parts of an electrical circuit, or between different electrical circuits anywhere within vehicles. This is especially important in electric vehicles (EVs), where we provide increased affordability, efficiency and safety in power distribution. Connectors use an improved “male/female” connection, which provides a stronger pairing between the “male” protrusion section and the “female” cavity, improving overall reliability and power flow. 

 

Our injection-molded connectors ensure high-current flow throughout the service life of a vehicle, which improves customer satisfaction by providing superior, long-time performance. Made in our state-of-the-art facilities, our high-current electrical connectors are designed for performance and longevity.

Yes, if the sealing performance is marginal, it allows moisture to enter the metal contacts and corrode. This will lead to reduced electrical conductivity and malfunctions. Ensuring the selection of the highest reliability materials at appropriate cost levels ensure this does not occur.
