UPS service level agreements (SLAs)

With an Eaton UPS SLA in place, issues can be rectified without delay with our support or that of our approved service providers, along with access to a telephone helpdesk, UPS spare parts, regular preventive maintenance and emergency repairs when needed.

Warranty Advance

A higher level of service for hardwired UPSs for a total of three years

Warranty Advance provides a higher level of service than the standard warranty over a period three years. It includes:

  • One on-site intervention in the case of breakdown during the first two years
  • One maintenance visit in the final year, if no prior intervention due to breakdown was necessary
  • Emergency response – a technician will be on site within eight hours[1]
  • Access to a professional, customised helpline during working hours
  • Technical updates
  • 25% discount on spare parts and batteries during the second and third year

Specifications

Connected Warranty+1 and Connected Warranty+3 use Eaton’s SaaS secure remote monitoring solution to provide you with all the insights and recommendations you need to ensure preventive battery replacement for your connected UPS, minimising the mean time to repair and massively increasing your uptime.

Combined with Warranty+1 and Warranty+3, these packages offer one or three additional years of faster response times to malfunctions and total protection against failures. With continuous monitoring by an Eaton specialist team, you’ll have access to a UPS remote monitoring portal for comprehensive monthly health reports and real-time UPS diagnostics to validate any warranty claim.

Warranty+1 and Warranty+3 cover both electronic parts and batteries, offering you peace of mind for an additional one or three years on top of the standard product warranty.*

During the extended period, the warranty coverage includes one standard UPS replacement including shipping costs and access to a professional helpline during working hours.

*Batteries are only covered in case of failure, not for reduced autonomy

Providing a higher level of service than a standard warranty over three years, Warranty Advance includes one on-site intervention in the case of breakdown during the first two years, or a maintenance visit in the final year if no prior intervention was necessary. The service also includes access to a professional, customised helpline during working hours and, in the case of emergencies, an Eaton specialist will be on-site within 8 hours.**

**During working hours in the country where the UPS is installed, and excluding weekends and public holidays

Eaton extended warranties can only be purchased during the standard or extended warranty period. Connected Warranty +1, Connected Warranty+3 Warranty+1 and Warranty+3,  are renewable for a total of seven years of warranty coverage, including the standard warranty period. After the seventh or the final year of the warranty, whichever comes first, you can purchase a new product with a discount by contacting the Eaton customer service centre in your country.
